Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, known for roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. The actress began her career in the 1980s. Her role as Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her incredibly famous. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared with her. As a young teenager in Mumbai's middle-class, she started to dance. She ventured into acting as young and fought through a couple of years since most of her initial films failed. Then she found her feet and was one of the leading actresses within the Indian film industry. Following her marriage, she took some time to rest from her acting career before returning. In recent times, she was in an important role as a character in Gulaab Gang. The film was about struggles faced by women across India. Dixit is nominated to win the fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri is the fourth most prestigious civilian award in India. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
