MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin pop mainstream has been impacted by his global popularity. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won an Colombian Kids Choice Award as the most popular Song in 2017. His debut album ADN was made available in 2017 by La Industria Inc., an Medellin-based Sony distribution company. This album peaked at 8 in the Top Latin Albums charts. The following year, he teamed up with Ozuna for the creation of Vaina Loca that climbed to number five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia is which was released in the year 2020, by Noriel and his Dopamina album the following year. In 2021, he sang a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are both musicians. In interviews, he has stated that music was a necessity. When he was young, he taught to perform on the guitar, piano and ukulele. His initial goal was to become a veterinarian the brother Julian encouraged him to enroll in singing lessons with the help of a Cuban instructor and as a result personally discovering his talent in the field of singing changed the direction of his life.
