After having graduated from high school in 2005, she emigrated with her mom to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. She made her acting debut in the romantic comedy Music and Lyrics, starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore. She sang on the soundtrack, in addition to her acting character.
